Decided if you get anything out of them yet? What size did you get and what was your knee measurement?

There is some small resistance I think. My knees felt super secure but my left foot was going numb.
I went small and my knees were 35.5cm. I was at the upper limit of small. Took a while to get on and I needed a little help.

I tried SBDs on Saturday, I think they were size S, I needed slip ons to get them over my knees.
My calfs did go a little numb. I only tried them with 70kgs and did notice a bit of stopping power.

For those that bought them, do you feel they were worth the cost? Are they that much more impressive then rehbands? Ta.

you guys needing slip-ons and assistance to get your knee sleeves on should read the minutes at IPF congress. Better practice getting those sleeves on by yourselves….
"Amendment from Finland: If knee sleeves are used, the lifter must be able to put on knee sleeves without assistance. **Seconder Denmark: Voting 27/1/8 accepted "

What does assistance mean? Assistance from other people?
That reads to me like slip-ons would still be ok (not that I currently need them).

They could bring in a rule that lifters can only pull the sleeves over thier knees infront of the judges by themselfs before they squat on each attempt.

I'd read assistance as other people or slip-ons. Knee sleeves should be pretty simple, pull them up before your first warmup and take them off when you finish benching. Wouldn't need to be that rule amendment if people weren't trying to gain poundage from the sleeves by ordering much too small.
It's all the russians fault

No matter what the rule, people will push the boundaries to the limits. Its competitors job to try and get the edge (within the confines of the rules), can't blame them for that.

I've been using the XL's and loving them, last comp i won an extra pair and asked for a L for comps planning on training in the XL's. He sent M's instead. after half an hour of trying to get into them i honestly can't feel any difference in the amount of assistance it gives.

The heavier the weight is on the more the "bounce" becomes insignificant. Annie borrowed mine and said she definitely felt bounce but she was only squatting 100kg. With 200+ its pretty insignificant but damn the pressure feels good.
I'm reading the assistance as no help from anyone else. Mainly because I have hairy fucking legs and without my slipons I'm going to be in a lot of pain.
