Hey all, Name is Alan, have been lifting for about 2 years now. I started lifting because i didn't want to be the smallest person in my Exercise Science class and fell into powerlifting through some friends and an introduction to EliteFTS.net.
I competed in my first competition in 2011 at Matti Tikka and had a great experience. Have not competed since but have intentions of competing later this year in a local comp at HydroFit.
I'm currently pursuing a 200kg squat at 93kg, not a huge number by any means (especially after reading many of the logs on this forum) but would be a huge achievement and milestone for me.
Looking forward to learning much more from everyone here.

Welcome to the forum Alan.
Good luck with your goals. I'm also hoping to break the 200KG squat this year but i'll probably be a bit heavier lol.

I also hope to squat 200 this year... without it breaking me.

Hello all, my name is Dan from Sydney, I lift for health and enjoyment and these days I am working on cardio fitness as well, something that has never been my strong point. One of your members pointed me in this direction so I came over to say hello.

G'day,
Mark aka Edzo from Port Lincoln area SA. Male, 42 yo. Been training on and off since 15 Yoish. Love training for strength, nothing like getting that new PR. Mainly do WSB style with a bit of 5 x 5 thrown in. About to start Sheiko to really get out of my comfort zone, the thought of not doing 1-3 RM each week freaks me out, going backwards comes to mine, but what's 4 weeks?
Cheers
