I'm late to the party on this issue, but a couple of online generic protein sellers have been outed for selling whey protein coming in as low as 30% protein. Check out a taste of the furore: ausbb.com/bodybuilding-supplements/23732-big-mick-testing-no-bull-protein.html there's plenty more on ausbb.com Apart from the obvious issue about consumer confidence, this also goes to show the risks of supplement use for tested athletes. If protein powder is being diluted so that 50% or more of the supposed protein content is missing, what's in the stuff that replaced it!
