I currently have Titan Max RPM wrist wraps. The velcro is becoming shagged, so they are frequently coming off during lifts. I am looking at Sticky's SportsKraft wrist wraps here: pro-powerlifting.myshopify.com/collections/knee-wraps/products/propower-ii-wrist-wrapDoes the IPF approved list apply to wrist wraps used in raw comps? The raw list on the PA website is a bit unclear. It just says examples of legal wrist wraps and has a couple of pictures.

yes- my understanding is that you can only use wrist wraps off the approved list.

I've got some Metal Black wrist wraps that I've had for ages- they're still like new.

I've had the Titan ones for 2 years. The softer side of the velcro has just becoming really fluffy - preventing it from gripping. The stitching in the thumb hook is also coming loose. I'd expect them to last a bit longer to be honest.

I'd expect them to last a bit longer to be honest. I've actually burnt threw some of my sets of wraps in as little as 6 months so 2 years is pretty good in my opinion. I used metals in the past and found the stitching on the velcro also began to give way as well as the velcro. I haven't seen this happen to Titan wraps yet as they are double stitched but the velcro definitely wears out after a while depending on how much you use them. Can't comment on Inzers personally though.

my APT wraps I've had for 4 years are still in perfect condition, and they are the only wraps with the thumb loops in left and right hand sides so they can be wrapped easily. I bought a pair of Titan wraps for use at national comps, only because I needed a pair that are IPF approved. Unfortunately IPF approved has nothing to do with quality or specification, it's all about money.
For WA comps I run if it meets the technical specifications I don't care what brand of wrist wraps or knee sleeves you use.

Metal Silvers have the alternated thumb loops as well. I liked that about them.

Yeah it's a real shame you can't use APTs anymore, I miss my Strangulators.

Just a follow-up on this.
I got some Inzer Iron-Zs from ProPower as they were listed as out of stock on UGE.
On inspection, I reckon the Inzer design is superior to Titan MaxRPM.
Titan has the rough velcro side on the end strap and the soft velcro side on the body of the wrap. Once the soft side fluffed up a bit, the wraps just wouldn't stay on - as there was only a small patch of the rough velcro to grab onto.
With the Inzer it's the opposite: the rough velcro is on the body. This means that there is much greater surface area of rough velcro. The soft part is on the end strap. The rough velcro grabs on to not only the end strap but the material of wrap itself, providing extra support.

Most of the Inzer gear is better made than Titan. The stiching on their suits and shirts are much better than Titan, although the material stretches faster.
