I'm pretty new to powerlfting, had my first competition around 3 month ago (220/125/210@-100 w. wraps) and was running a bastardized version of 5/3/1. I'm interested in Sheiko so I registrated on this platform, because of all the informations around here. I will Start the programm in some weeks, but I have still some unanswered questions about the programming. (Sry about my englisch, Not my first language) cheers! Hi Arvodon- welcome to the forum.

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to enter my first comp in October this year, the "Battler's Novice Comp". I was hoping to compete last year, but couldn't due to injury and some personal circumstances.
I also have a question I was hoping someone could help with. On the "Getting Started" section of the PA website it says to contact your nearest branch manager regarding a training venue. Do I have to train at a PA affiliated gym, or is my local gym OK?

Local gym is fine. I think that line is more towards if you want to learn the powerlifts.

Hola!
Norwegian amateur powerlifter here and interested in everything Sheiko related! Been running the 12weeksheiko spreadsheet from the old proboards sheikoforum, but only weeks 5-8, back to back for nearly 6 months now, adjusting the sq and dl up with 5kg and the bench up with 2,5kg each month. Had my last meet, the unofficial norwegian raw nationals, march 30th. and won the -120kg weightclass (mostly due to lack of contestants) with 242,5-162,5-277,5 = 682,5kg and 400wilks @111kg, and are training for the equipped nationals May 31th. (If I can get together enough money) and hopefully break the 700kg barrier.
