I think you should be able to do it if you use correct maxes. I've never met anyone who couldn't complete it.
Were you using real maxes when you ran #29? What stopped you completing it? There is some misinformation around (from EliteFTS site) stating that #29 is for beginners. #29 is actually the first block in a 16 week cycle for a level 1 rated lifter, so someone that has been training this way for a while.
Dave's program above should be more managable.

Ok great. Thanks for the response. I did use real maxes, tested the week prior. I stopped before of some shoulder trouble, left shoulder/elbow gave way about 7 weeks in under 70%. My technique was nowhere near what it should have been, so no fault but my own. Things are resolved now and technique is much better.
Looking forward to this. Thanks again for the feedback.

Completed my first week of the beginners template abovenand have a couple questions? Seems dips Cain my elbow and shoulder, is there a substitute or should I work on technique and find where the prob is? Also is it OK to add another day? Maybe conditioning and some hypertrophy? Cheers.

Im not sure if its been spoken about here somewhere else, but is there a way to sneak some overhead press into sheiko? Or is it possible the improvements on bench would transfer enough to negate overhead work?
Im competing in strongman and am interested in sheiko programming to get stronger and also refine my squat and bench. But am a little worried about not hitting overhead press.

Some strongman have just subbed in Overhead press on one of their bench days. Usually as the second lift on a double press day.
