Normally you use the original max right to the end, then kick it out of the park at the comp

In the version on irbis it says keep the same until after the competition: "If an athlete has improved personal bests in what or exercise, it is recommended to take a percentage of new results only after lifting at the competition."
* ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ - Если спортсмен улучшил личные рекорды в каком либо упражнении, рекомендуется брать проценты от новых результатов только после выступления на ближайших соревнованиях при условии, что до них не более месяца.

if you do the 37,37,32 are you supposed to compete the weekend straight after the wednesday heavy session or the following weekend?

If you compete on Saturday, the final training session is Wednesday. If competition is Sunday, final training on Thursday.

How would one decide on whether to start with one of the Sheiko templates or one of the prep cycles posted here? What should the decision be based on?

Personally I think a good starting point for anyone is 37 or 29. The modified versions I created are going to be more appropriate once you get some time with the original templates and have some experience that will help guide you when you are looking to adjust loads or reps.
